NGC6992, The Eastern Veil Nebula is a cloud of heated and ionized gas and dust in the constellation Cygnus. It constitutes the visible portions of the Cygnus Loop, a supernova remnant. 1,470 light years distant. Two panels of 70x60sec fits exposures captured across two four nights in N.I.N.A 3 and stacked in Siril 1.4. Telescope: Orion 8" 1000mm f4.9 Newtonian reflector. Mount: Orion Atlas EQ-G Guide Scope: Meade 800mm f10 reduced to f5 with Atik x.5 focal length reducer (ADM rings). Imaging Camera: Canon T3i with full spectrum modification.
