Stephan's Quintet in the constellation Pegasus is a visual grouping of five galaxies of which four form the first compact galaxy group ever discovered. These galaxies are of interest because of their violent collisions. Four of the five galaxies in Stephan's Quintet form a physical association and are involved in a cosmic dance that most likely will end with the galaxies merging. The five galaxies which make up the Quintet are very distant at 210-340 million ly from Earth. NGC7320 to the lower left in this photo is a forground galaxy at 37 million ly from Earth. 13x300sec fits exposures. Captured and combined in Nebulosity v2.4.0 software.
